NEW BOOKING SYSTEM: MOMENCE
Dear Community,
We're thrilled to announce some exciting changes coming to Intuit Movement Studio.
After a year of using Acuity as our booking platform, we have come to the conclusion that it isn’t offering our clients the experience they deserve. After deeply considering and weighing whether it is worthwhile to have you transition to a new system yet again, we determined that the short term pain is worth the long term gain.
So- we are upgrading our booking system to a new platform called Momence as of January 30th.
This move will bring you:
Improved User Experience:
Easier and more intuitive booking process with direct integration from the website.
Enhanced mobile experience through an App for on-the-go bookings.
Ability to message the studio directly through in-app communication.
Streamlined class cancellations and waitlist options.
Increased Functionality:
Personalized recommendations and notifications.
Improved communication regarding studio news and special offers.
In-platform messaging opportunities to communicate with the studio.
Enhanced Security:
Stronger data encryption for your peace of mind.
We understand that change can sometimes feel daunting. Trust us, we aren’t excited about this period of change either. To ensure a smooth transition, please review the following next steps to prepare;

The old system will remain accessible for us as administrators to ensure no data loss occurs- but booking will NOT be available for classes through that system effective January 30th, 2025.
FAQ
Do I need to create an account?
YES, you will need to create an account to set your password.
Ensure you use the same email address as used in our previous booking system, as we are migrating all client data using these details.
Do I need to download an app?
App use is highly recommended, but access through web integration is also improved. When your client information is migrated and the system goes live, you will get an automatic email welcoming you to the new booking system. Keep an eye out for this information. This email will also contain the necessary information to re-authorize your credit card for any subscription payments.
Will my passes and credits be transferred to the new system?
YES. We are migrating this information to the new system. We will also keep the other system live for a month to make sure no data is lost. If, after data migration, you feel something is missing from your account, please contact us at hello@intuistudio.ca
What is the new system called?
MOMENCE. You can find it on the app store, but please wait til you receive the automatic email to prevent issues.
