Stamina and strategies for Festival Season

Festival season is in full swing, and we want to make sure that you are getting the most out of your festival experience!

Here's some top tips and strategies on how to maintain your stamina throughout festival season:

Stay HYDRATED
It’s highly likely that you’re going to be basking in the sun, hanging in the heat, and dancing the night away, so it’s important to make sure you’re getting enough electrolytes. Just drinking water is not enough! Pack some electrolyte powders or tablets, and bring tons of fruit to snack on throughout the day.

ALL THE SNACKS
Make sure you’re eating enough throughout the day. When you’re dancing up a storm it can be easy to forget to eat, so be sure to have plenty of grab and go snacks that you can carry with you in your festival fanny pack. Who doesn’t love a dance floor snack break?

Comfort is KEY
I know, I know, your festival shoes are CUTE, but are they comfy? You’re going to be on your feet A LOT so choosing shoes that feel comfortable and supportive will help you get through the day with ease. PRO TIP: bring a lacrosse or massage ball with you to roll your feet out before bed.

SIESTA
There’s a reason afternoon naps (known as Siesta’s in the Mediterranean and South America) are so popular, not only do they help you beat the heat (when we sleep our body temperature drops), but they are also a great way to re-energize before you go out dancing all night. And let’s be real, we know you’re not getting enough sleep throughout the night anyways.
