IT’S TIME FOR A CHANGE

To ensure the continued success and stability of Intuit Movement Studio, we will be relocating. 

This move is a necessary step to address unforeseen rent increases, resolve ongoing challenges related to building management and maintenance, and support the future development of our offerings.

We are confident this change will allow us to serve our community even better in the years ahead.

WHEN IS THIS HAPPENING?

Intuit plans to be operational in our new location no later than Monday, June 2nd.

This date is subject to change, and the official move date and reopening in the new space may be slightly sooner, or slightly later. 

We appreciate your kindness, empathy, patience, and understanding during this transition and will communicate any disruptions to the schedule promptly.

Please make sure to check your email before attending classes after May 21, 2025.

WHY THE Short Notice? 

We understand that the timing of our move feels sudden.

The evolving tenancy relationship at our current location created significant uncertainty about our long-term viability in this location.

When we found a new space that met our needs, we acted quickly to secure it.

Our priority was to ensure the continued operation of Intuit Movement Studio and the preservation of our resources, allowing us to keep serving you without interruption.

WHERE ARe YOU MOVING?

Intuit is moving two blocks away to 509 Vernon Street, in the space previously occupied by Saint Performance/ The Sport Lab on the same block as the Nelson & District Credit Union, across from the Gray Building. The entrance is located at street level.

WHAT WILL BE DIFFERENT?

Our new location will offer you the same  level of service you've come to expect, now with even more room to move. 

You'll enjoy two larger studios, boasting 900 and 520 square feet (compared to our previous 760 and 360 sq ft). 

We will offer the same great equipment you're used to, now with more heavy weights and better flooring throughout.

You'll also find mirrors throughout and the same quality sound system you've always enjoyed. 

There will be one complimentary shower onsite, and we are investing in an improved area for personal maintenance.

Expect the similar or better amenities- just in a new space.

WHAT ABOUT THE SAUNA?

We've encountered some challenges in offering a private sauna experience with staffing in the new space.

The sale of new sauna passes is paused until further notice.

If you currently have sauna passes, please use them before May 23rd.

If you have remaining passes after this date, please contact us, and we'll be happy to arrange a credit for you.

We understand the value of this amenity and will be carefully re-evaluating the possibility of including sauna services in our offerings again in Fall 2025. We appreciate your understanding.

HOW WILL THIS AFFECT MY ACCESS AND MY MEMBERSHIP?

We are working hard to minimize any inconvenience.

We expect the transition to require a temporary closure of approximately 3 business days.

We will keep you updated on the exact dates to ensure you can plan accordingly. Please make sure you have a valid email address on file on your account.

WILL I GET CREDITS OR AN EXTENSION FOR THE CLOSURE?

We understand that the upcoming short closure may affect your access to select classes. 

Given the flexibility of our passes, we typically don't automatically extend them for brief closures such as this.

However, if the date of the closure significantly impact your ability to use your pass, please don't hesitate to contact us, and we'll be happy to discuss individual arrangements to ensure you get the full value. Should the closure need to be extended, we will proactively reach out with information about pass adjustments.

WILL THERE BE CHANGES TO THE SCHEDULE?

Good news! Our current schedule remains in place, and our new larger studio spaces  will comfortably accommodate everyone, even during busier class times.

Please keep in mind that our schedule does typically adjust in July and August to reflect the natural decrease in indoor fitness class attendance during the summer months.

We'll be sure to keep you updated on any changes as we approach that time.

WHAT ABOUT SCOUT?

Unfortunately, the same factors that necessitate our move are also affecting our friends at Scout Clothing.

They understand and support our decision, even though it will significantly impact their ongoing business.

We know many of you appreciate having Scout here, and they are currently exploring their options for the future.

Scout will make it’s own announcements about their next steps, so be sure to follow them on Instagram to stay up-to-date.

Good News! Erin's Fitness Classes Will Continue!

While Scout Clothing won't be joining us in our new space, we're delighted to announce that Erin will continue to offer her popular weekly fitness classes at Intuit in our new location.

You can look forward to the same great workouts with Erin in our new space.

WHAT ABOUT HEAVY CHEVY?

As Heavy Chevy Haircuts operates with a separate entrance, they plan to remain in the Nelson Trading Company.
